I think there comes a time when a player has to tell his agent that you know what, let's just take the deal.

From what I heard, the Yankees offers to Damon were probably the biggest he was going to get.

he wasn't willing to take a pay cut and he's not worth $13 million.

he'll have to take a cheap one-year deal like bobby abreu did last year and hope he can parlay that into a bigger deal in '11.

i bet he ends up with the reds.

But hey... look on the bright side. We got rid of Der- no wait... not the shitty one... that's right Vasquez the fucking awesome one .

But we did acquire... Melky Cabrera.

Oh and lets not forget Troy Glaus... man he used to be somewhat relevant... maybe the nostalgia will be enough to fuel his numbers.
